House Rules

Welcome to HIKARI LAKE VILLAS. Our goal is to ensure a comfortable, safe and high-quality stay surrounded by nature for all guests. Please read the house rules below and follow them throughout your stay.

1. General provisions

1.1. HIKARI LAKE VILLAS is a private leisure complex designed for calm and high-quality rest in nature.

1.2. These house rules apply to all guests from the moment of arrival until departure.

1.3. The villa is designed for 2 persons. Any additional number of persons is only possible with prior agreement with the administration.

1.4. It is strictly prohibited to bring any unregistered guests to the territory or villa – neither for a short visit, overnight stay, nor for any amount of time without prior approval from the administration.

1.5. The person who made the reservation is responsible for informing all accompanying guests about these rules.

1.6. Guests are responsible for their own safety, health, personal belongings, and responsible use of the villa and territory.

2. Guest obligations and behavior

2.1. Guests must maintain order and behave respectfully towards other guests, staff, and the environment.

2.2. Guests must ensure complete silence in the territory – any noise or loud music that may disturb other guests is prohibited at all times.

2.3. It is prohibited to organize parties, events, or commercial activities without prior consent from HIKARI LAKE VILLAS.

2.4. It is prohibited to use dangerous substances, pyrotechnics, or any devices that may pose a risk to people or property.

3. Liability for property and damage

3.1. Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the villa, furniture, equipment, inventory, or territory due to improper use or negligence.

3.2. Any malfunction, damage, or issue must be reported immediately to the administration.

3.3. In case of loss or damage of a key, gate remote control, or other provided items, an additional fee may apply.

3.4. HIKARI LAKE VILLAS is not responsible for lost or forgotten personal belongings.

4. Smoking and alarm system

4.1. Smoking inside all indoor premises is strictly prohibited.

4.2. The use of electronic cigarettes, heated tobacco, and similar products is subject to the same restrictions as regular smoking.

4.3. Smoking is allowed only in outdoor areas, with proper disposal of cigarette waste.

4.4. The villa is equipped with smoke detectors and an alarm system for guest safety. These may be triggered by smoke, including smoking or use of the stove/grill.

4.5. Guests may be held responsible for alarm activation caused by improper use.

5. Pets

5.1. Pets are not allowed, except when prior approval has been granted by the administration.

5.2. If a pet is brought without agreement, an additional €100 cleaning fee may apply.

5.3. The guest is fully responsible for any damage caused by pets.

6. Children

6.1. Children are welcome, however the villa is designed for two persons.

6.2. An additional sleeping place for a child may be provided on the living room sofa.

6.3. Children are accepted only with MANDATORY prior notification of the administration.

6.4. Parents or guardians are fully responsible for the safety and supervision of children throughout the stay.

7. Use of premises and equipment

7.1. Please use all equipment, furniture, and inventory responsibly and for their intended purpose.

7.2. Kitchen equipment must be used safely and under supervision.

7.3. Be extremely careful when using the wood stove, grill (kamado), and other fire sources.

7.4. All fire sources must be used responsibly and under constant supervision. Full responsibility lies with the guest.

8. Heating, air conditioning and systems

8.1. Underfloor heating, air conditioning, and other systems must be used responsibly and rationally.

8.2. It is recommended to turn off unnecessary electrical devices when leaving the villa.

8.3. Any malfunction must be reported immediately to the administration.

9. Sauna, jacuzzi and health

9.1. The sauna and jacuzzi are additional services used at your own risk.

9.2. Guests must assess their own health condition before using these facilities.

9.3. HIKARI LAKE VILLAS is not responsible for any health issues or consequences arising from the use of the sauna or jacuzzi.

10. Terrace and fire use

10.1. The kamado grill in the yard is intended for guest use.

10.2. All fire-related activities must be carried out responsibly and under constant supervision.

10.3. It is prohibited to leave fire unattended.

10.4. Full responsibility for the use of the grill or stove lies with the guest.

11. Natural environment and risks

11.1. HIKARI LAKE VILLAS is located in a natural environment near a lake, therefore guests acknowledge that insects, animals, or other natural phenomena may occur.

11.2. HIKARI LAKE VILLAS is not responsible for inconveniences or health effects caused by natural surroundings (e.g. insect bites, ticks, etc.).

12. Lake, swimming and pier

12.1. The lake is a natural state-owned water body and is subject to the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.

12.2. Fishing is allowed only with a valid fishing license obtained through the standard procedure.

12.3. Swimming in the lake is at the guests’ own risk.

12.4. It is strictly prohibited to jump from the pier or any other structures. All water activities are carried out at the guest’s own responsibility.

13. Emergency situations

13.1. In case of emergency, call 112 immediately and inform the administration.

13.2. Guests must follow all safety instructions.

13.3. It is prohibited to block passages, emergency exits, or use equipment unsafely.

14. Check-out rules

14.1. Check-out time is until 12:00, unless agreed otherwise.

14.2. Please leave the villa tidy, dispose of waste properly, and extinguish all fire sources.

14.3. Late check-out is possible only by prior agreement and subject to availability. Additional fees may apply.

15. Right to refuse service

15.1. HIKARI LAKE VILLAS reserves the right to refuse accommodation or terminate the stay of persons who violate these rules, disturb other guests, pose a safety risk, or behave inappropriately.
