Cancellation & Refund Policy
HIKARI LAKE VILLAS – Cancellation Policy, Gift Card Terms and General Legal Information
By making a reservation or purchasing a gift card, guests confirm that they have read and agree to these terms.
1. General provisions
1.1. These terms apply to all HIKARI LAKE VILLAS reservations and gift cards, regardless of the purchase channel.
1.2. A reservation is considered valid from the moment of payment.
1.3. These terms form an integral part of the service agreement.
2. Reservation cancellation and refunds
2.1. If the reservation is cancelled more than 14 days before the arrival date, 100% of the paid amount is refunded.
2.2. If the reservation is cancelled 14 days or less before the arrival date, no refund is issued.
2.3. In case of a no-show, the full amount paid is non-refundable.
2.4. We encourage open communication and value every guest’s experience. Our goal is for your stay at HIKARI LAKE VILLAS to meet your expectations. If anything does not meet your expectations or the information provided, we kindly invite you to contact us immediately – we always strive to find a solution and ensure the best possible experience.
2.5. For any matters, we kindly encourage you to first contact the HIKARI LAKE VILLAS team directly. We value open dialogue and always aim to resolve situations constructively and find a mutually acceptable solution.
3. Reservation changes
3.1. Reservation date changes are possible only upon prior agreement with the administration and depend on availability.
3.2. Date changes are not guaranteed.
4. Gift card terms
4.1. Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
4.2. Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash after purchase.
4.3. Any remaining balance stays on the same gift card until its expiry date.
5. 14-day withdrawal right (Lithuanian Civil Code 6.22810)
5.1. In accordance with Article 6.22810(2)(12) of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania, the consumer’s right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days does not apply to accommodation services when they are provided for a specific date or period.
5.2. Therefore, cancellation terms set out in these conditions apply to reservations.
6. HIKARI right to modify or cancel reservations
6.1. In exceptional cases (technical failures, force majeure circumstances, or if the property is unsuitable for accommodation), HIKARI LAKE VILLAS reserves the right to cancel a reservation.
6.2. In such cases, 100% of the paid amount will be refunded.
6.3. No additional compensation is provided.
7. Complaints and dispute resolution
7.1. Complaints regarding services or payments must be submitted to hikarilakevillas@gmail.com. A response is provided within 14 calendar days.
7.2. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, consumers have the right to contact the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (VVTAT) or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
